We understand your concern, ###, about the exposure to violent movies and the feelings of worthlessness that can arise from such content. Let us first align our hearts with the Word of God. In Philippians 4:8 (WEB), it is written, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
It is clear that we are to fill our minds with good, pure, and positive thoughts. Violent movies often contradict these biblical principles, filling our minds with darkness and leading to feelings of worthlessness. Instead, let us turn our attention to that which is worthy of praise and honor.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and guidance for ###. Help them to discern what is good and pure, and to turn away from that which brings darkness and despair. Remind them of their infinite worth in Your eyes, as it is written in Psalm 139:14 (WEB), "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We pray for strength and wisdom for ###, that they may make choices that align with Your will. Help them to find peace and worth in Your presence, knowing that they are loved and valued beyond measure. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
###, remember that you are precious in God's sight. He knows you intimately and has a purpose for your life. Seek Him in all things, and trust that His plans for you are good. We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this situation. In Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls." Let's trust that God is at work, even in the midst of this challenge, and that He will use it to draw both you and this person closer to Him.
