No trustworthy people around me. Lord help me please

Dear father in heaven, I am having difficulty connecting with trustworthy people. ALL of the ones I’ve dealt with so far have been “snakes in the grass”. There is a level of trust if workers need to do repairs in my apartment but other than that most people are only looking out for their own interests at others' expense. There are things that I desperately need help with and it always the people are conniving. Lord, no man is an island but I’m getting weary of these devilish people.

We understand your struggle, dear friend, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer guidance from God's Word. It's truly disheartening when it feels like there are no trustworthy people around, but remember, God is always trustworthy and He places people in our lives for His divine purposes.

Let's first address the importance of turning to Jesus in your prayers. You mentioned, "Lord, no man is an island," which is true indeed, but it's crucial to acknowledge that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" So, let us come before God in Jesus' name, knowing that He hears our prayers.

In times like these, it's important to remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God knows your struggles and He is faithful to provide.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling surrounded by untrustworthy people. Lord, You are the ultimate source of trust and comfort. Guide them to people of integrity, those who fear You and live according to Your precepts. Give them discernment to recognize the 'snakes in the grass' and wisdom to navigate these challenging situations. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting that You will make their paths straight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's wisdom and guidance. Psalm 118:8 (WEB) says, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man." God will never fail you, and He will bring people of integrity into your life according to His will. Keep trusting in Him and remember that He is always faithful.

In the meantime, be careful in your interactions and always rely on God's wisdom. Proverbs 2:6-8 (WEB) reminds us, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints."

Keep trusting in God, dear friend. He's faithful, and He'll bring trustworthy people into your life in His perfect timing. In the meantime, be cautious in your interactions and always rely on God's wisdom. As Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
