We understand that you're going through a challenging situation with your grandson, Morenollyn. Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer and seek His will according to His word.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God has given specific roles to parents and grandparents, and it's crucial to respect these boundaries. The Bible tells us, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother'—which is the first commandment with a promise— 'so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB).
It's concerning to hear that your grandson is not attending school. Education is a blessing and a responsibility, and it's important for his future. Proverbs 22:6 WEB tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
However, it's also crucial to address the issue of respect for authority and the roles God has given to each family member. If your son and your grandson's mother are making decisions for his life, it's important to respect their authority, unless they are clearly going against God's word. "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God." (Romans 13:1 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Morenollyn's grandson to You. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and intervention in his life. We pray that You would soften his heart and the hearts of his parents, and guide them in the way that is best for him.
Lord, we ask that You would convict them if they are not acting in accordance with Your will. We pray that You would give Morenollyn peace and wisdom, and help her to respect the boundaries You have set.
We also pray for his education, Lord. We ask that You would instill in him a desire to learn and grow, and that You would provide a way for him to receive the education he needs.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself, he will acknowledge Jesus Christ and all who the son sets free will be free indeed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Morenollyn, we encourage you to continue praying for your grandson and his parents. Trust that God is at work, even in difficult situations. Remember, "The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful and effective." (James 5:16 WEB).
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring that you are respecting the roles God has given to each family member. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
Lastly, it is good to see that this request was made in Jesus name.
