We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God,
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Let's address the injustice and pain you've experienced. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB)
It's clear that you've been through a lot of mistreatment and humiliation, but remember that God sees all things and He does not forget his children that are suffering.
He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; his understanding is infinite. Yahweh supports the humble; for the wicked he brings them down to the ground. (Psalm 147:3-6 WEB)
God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6 WEB)
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB)
It's important that you leave room for God to deal with these people rather than relying on your own understanding or seeking your own revenge. This does not mean that you can't seek justice through the proper legal and ethical channels, but ultimately, God is the judge.
Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord." (Romans 12:19 WEB)
Even when people have wronged us, we are still called to love and forgive them. In fact, loving and forgiving them helps to release us from bitterness and anger.
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. (Matthew 5:44 WEB)
But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "Don't fear what they fear, neither be troubled." But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who slander your good manner of life in Christ. For it is better, if it is God's will, that you suffer for doing well than for doing evil. (1 Peter 3:14-17 WEB)
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. If you are not already part of a church community, we recommend finding a Bible-believing church where you can connect with other Christians and grow in your faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up our sister who has experienced injustice and humiliation. Lord, You see all things and You know the pain and distress she's experienced. Our Father, we pray for Your healing and comfort. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her deeply.
Lord, we know that You have a plan and purpose for her life. Help her to trust in You and to wait patiently for Your promises to be fulfilled. Give her the strength and courage to forgive those who have wronged her, and to release any bitterness or anger.
We also pray for her finances, that You would provide for all her needs according to Your riches in glory. Give her wisdom and guidance as she seeks Your will for her career and future.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will for your life and to trust in His promises. Remember that God has a plan and purpose for you, and that He can turn even the most difficult circumstances around for good.
We rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:2-5 WEB)
