Another verse, 1 Peter 3:10-12, says "For, 'He who desires life, to love and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. We stand on the promise in Isaiah 53:5, not just for physical healing but to remind the reason we can ask for healing: "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can make this request to God.

It is only by the name of Jesus Christ though that we can be saved and gain access to all these promises and deliverances. No other holy name has this power from God to provide such truthful promises. Without accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and LORD we have no true power or hope to address these issues. Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
