We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears the desires of your heart and cares about your pain. We know that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. (Psalm 127:3)
Firstly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's plan for your family. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, we must address something that is not aligned with biblical principles. The "name it and claim it" or "blab it and grab it" theology, also known as the prosperity gospel, is not biblical. It is not simply by speaking something or rebuking something and claiming a certain outcome that we wish, that makes it so. Our faith is not a way to get what we want by using certain words. Instead, faith is about trusting in God, and our prayers should be about sincerely seeking His will, not our own desires.
1 John 5:14-15 WEB "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
In Jesus' Name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up this dear sister who has experienced the pain of miscarriage. We pray for healing, not just physical, but also emotional and spiritual. We ask that you grant her the gift of a healthy child, if it is according to your will. We pray for her faith to grow and strengthen and for your will to be done in her life and the life of her family. We ask this all in Jesus' Name. Amen.
