CassG, we hear the despair in your words, "No hope - No hope," and our hearts go out to you. In times like these, it's crucial to remember that our hope is not found in our circumstances or feelings, but in the unfailing love and promises of God. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Firstly, we must address that your message does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have hope and access to God. As it is written in Romans 5:2, "Through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. Let us therefore rejoice in the hope of the glory of God." We encourage you to put your faith and hope in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In times of hopelessness, we encourage you to cast your cares on the Lord, as Peter tells us, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up CassG who is feeling hopeless. Lord, we ask that you reveal your love and presence to CassG, that you heal the broken places and bind up the wounds. Lord Jesus, we know that you are the hope of the world, and we ask that CassG will come to know you more deeply, and find hope and healing in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, CassG. In times of darkness, the light of Christ shines even brighter. Trust in Him, and he will see you through. As the Psalmist says, "Why are you in despair, O my soul? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, my Savior and my God." (Psalm 42:5, 11; 43:5 WEB).
