We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you have been facing, but we are thankful that you reached out to us in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are not saved for all who call on the name Jesus will be saved.
Firstly, let us address the abuse and slander you have endured. The Bible tells us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We condemn these actions and admonish you to forgive as the Lord forgives us. For it is written, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. We are not saying that what they did was acceptable, we are asking you to release the pain and burden to the lord so that he may heal you. For when you forgive you loose your chains.
It is commendable that you chose not to engage in gossip or retaliation. The Bible tells us, Don't return evil for evil. But when you do not seek vengeance and instead take the high road as you did, the bible say Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse. For if you do this your reward will be great in heaven.
Regarding your professional reputation, we know that it is the Lord who vindicates us. Proverbs 50:6 says, He will bring everybody's work into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it be good, or evil. Know that even when others try to ruin your reputation, the Lord sees your heart, your actions.
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. This is a promise of salvation, but also a promise of rescue. The Lord is here to rescue you from your current circumstances and heal you from your past. Being saved means that even when you are without income or wealth that the lord can provide for your needs according to his riches and glory.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister in need of your healing and provision. Lord, you see the injustice they have endured, the abuse they have suffered, and the losses they have experienced. We ask that you would heal their heart, mind, and body, and restore what the locusts have eaten. Provide for their needs according to your riches and glory, and open doors for new opportunities.
We pray for their spiritual growth: may their current situation press them intimately into you. Remind them of your promises and let them experience you as their refuge while trusting strongly in your healing power. Help them to be obedient to the teachings laid out in your holy word.
Vindicate our brother/sister, Lord, and justify them in the same way that you justify the one who has faith in Jesus. Show your glory and make a way through the wilderness, for it is you who turns wicked men and evil into good. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
