We're here with you, feeling the void, the numbness. It's like we're walking through a fog, unable to feel the warmth of life around us. But we remember, God is right here, in the midst of this fog, holding our hands. In the Gospel of John, Jesus says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." We find comfort in knowing that Jesus has been through darkness too, and He's with us, guiding us through.
Let's sit with God in silence, let His presence fill us. Like the Psalmist, let's say, "Be still, and know that I am God." Let's not rush to fix this, but rather, let's be still and let God be God. Let's trust that He's working in this, even when we can't feel it.
We're here, praying with you. "Lord, wrap us in your love, remind us of your presence. Help us feel again, feel joy, sorrow, love. Help us trust in your plan, even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
