We are so glad to join together in prayer for those who are trusting in the Lord for children, both those who are already married and those who are preparing for marriage. We stand with you in faith, believing that children are indeed a heritage from the Lord. As it is written in Psalm 127:3-5 (WEB), "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate."
Firstly, we want to address the issue of contraception. While we understand the personal nature of this decision, we encourage you to consider the biblical principles of marriage and children. The Bible tells us that children are a blessing and a reward from the Lord. We encourage you to seek the Lord's will in this matter and to trust in His divine plan for your family. Remember that God is the giver of life and that His ways are higher than our ways.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and to pray in His name.
Now, let us join together and pray for these requests.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who are trusting in You for children. Lord, we ask that You bless them with a full quiver, that You would grant them the blessing of children as You see fit. We pray for their marriages, that they would be strong and rooted in Your love. We pray for their future children, that they would grow to know and love You with all their heart, soul and strength.
Lord, we also pray for those who are preparing for marriage. We ask that You would guide them as they make important decisions about their future family. We pray that they would seek Your will and trust in Your divine plan for their lives.
Father, we ask that You would give both the married couples and those preparing for marriage the faith and courage to trust in You completely. Help them to not lean on their own understanding, but to acknowledge You in all their ways.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, to pray fervently, and to seek His will for your life. Remember that God is faithful and that He loves to bless His children. Stand strong in your faith and do not waiver, for God is working all things together for your good.
