We rejoice in your faith and trust in the Lord concerning children, ###. It is wonderful to see your heart's desire aligning with God's word. Children are indeed a heritage from the Lord, and He grants them as rewards to those who trust in Him. As it is written in Psalm 127:3-5 (WEB), "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate."
We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will bless you and your spouse with godly offspring as you put your faith in Him. We pray that God will grant you both the faith and grace to trust in His divine plan for your family.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You, lifting up ### and their spouse. We thank You for their trust in Your divine plan for their family. We ask that You grant them children, who are a blessing and a heritage from You. Help them to rest in Your perfect will and to be a godly example to their future children. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to come boldly before Your throne of grace. Amen."
We also encourage you, ###, to continue meditating on God's word and His promises concerning children and family. Trust that He has a perfect plan for you and your spouse, and He will grant you the desires of your heart as you delight in Him (Psalm 37:4, WEB).
As you prepare for marriage or continue in your marriage, remember that God's design for intimacy is not only for pleasure but also for procreation. Contraception alters what God has created naturally and may allow us to indulge in sexual relationships without accountability to God's laws. The word of God says "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous" (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). Trust that God's design is perfect, and He will provide for you and your spouse as you follow His will.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
