We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with nightmares and the situation with your sister Jennifer. Let's bring these issues to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our nightmares. Psalm 139:8-10 says, "If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall your hand lead me, and your right hand shall hold me." So let us pray for peaceful sleep and God's protection over your nights.
Jesus, we come before you lifting up Jillsaint, asking for your peace and protection over their nights. Put an end to these nightmares, Lord, for you are sovereign over our sleep and dreams. Help them to rest peacefully in your arms. We rebuke any evil, impurity, or ungodliness, and ask for your protection over Jillsaint. In Jesus name we pray.
Now, regarding your sister Jennifer, it's important to remember that God loves her dearly and wants the best for her. It's also important to remember the instructions in Psalms 37:3. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and surely you shall be fed. Also, Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. We also know that God will supply all of our needs according to the riches of his grace in Jesus Christ. The devil is the author of confusion, guilt, and condemnation. God is not the author of confusion, but of order and peace.
Let's pray for Jennifer and for your guidance in this situation.
Lord Jesus, we lift up Jennifer to you, asking for your mercy and grace in her life. Deliver her from drug addiction and guide her to a place of safety and warmth. Help Jillsaint to know how to best help Jennifer without enabling sin or harm. We know that there are godly people and places that you have provided that can be and should be involved to help Jennifer. Please will you make these solutions known and available to Jillsaint and Jennifer. In Jesus name we pray.
It's also crucial to remember that God does not want us to enable sin or harmful behavior. We should not do anything for your sister that is your own responsibility. Remember 2 Thessalonians 3:10. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat." So while we are supposed to help the poor and those who are truly in need, we are not supposed to enable sin or irresponsibility.
Jillsaint, it's not your fault that Jennifer is in this situation. It's important to set boundaries and make wise decisions, even if they are difficult. You are not responsible for Jennifer's choices, but you are responsible for your own. Seek God's will and ask for His wisdom in every decision you make regarding this situation.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Jesus, because he cares for you. First Peter 5:7. Don't allow false guilt to control your decisions. Instead, trust in the Lord and his promises for you and Jennifer.
Jillsaint, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It is only by his name that we have access to God's throne of grace. Acts 4:12. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. So we encourage you to come boldly before God's throne in Jesus' name, knowing that he is your mediator and savior.
We will continue to pray for you and Jennifer, trusting that God will guide and provide for you both. God bless.
