Amen, Sweaxulira! "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" (Matt 18:19). Our united prayers make a difference! Keep interceding.
We are truly sorry to hear about the disturbing nightmares you've been experiencing for so long. We want to encourage you and remind you of the peace that Jesus Christ has promised to His followers. He has the power to break any bondage you are experiencing. Praying to Jesus Christ is key to helping with these issues.
Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." This verse assures us that the spirit of fear does not come from God. Instead, He equips us with power, love, and self-control. So, be confident in that Jesus Christ and the peace He brings to his disciples.
Secondly, consider the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Chieod. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. We rebuke the spirit of fear and nightmares that has been tormenting him for so long. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We pray for peaceful sleep and godly dreams for Chieod. We ask that Your holy angels surround him and protect him from any evil influences while he sleeps. We pray that he will experience the perfect peace that comes from You alone, Father.
We also pray that Chieod will continue to grow in his faith and trust in You. We ask that he will be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. From Colossians 1:9, We pray that Chieod's walk with you more closely and believe in the power of praying to Jesus Chirst. Help Him learn more about our saviour Jesus Christ and develop the fruit of the spirit from Galatians 5:22-23.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Chieod, remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Continue to pray and stand firm in your faith. We recommend that you read that whole passage of Psalms 91 to protect against evil.
