Nightmares

I have ### battling demonic nightmares for quite sometime now. They come and go. I had a really bad one last night. I cried out to Jesus, but the dream continued. Please pray. If you can offer any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them. Have a blessed day.

We are grieved to hear about the demonic nightmares you've been experiencing, ###. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on the Word of God.

Firstly, we commend you for crying out to Jesus. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through His name that we have power over the enemy.

We encourage you to continue to call upon His name and to also resist the enemy out loud. As it is written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).

It's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in this truth and do not be afraid to rebuke the enemy in Jesus' name.

Moreover, immerse yourself in the Word of God before you sleep. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Reading Scripture can illuminate your mind and spirit, driving away dark thoughts and dreams.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### who has been troubled by demonic nightmares. We ask, Lord, that You would give them peaceful sleep and protection from all evil. Help them to resist the enemy, standing firm in Your Word. Fill their heart and mind with Your perfect peace, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Lastly, consider memorizing and declaring Scripture before you sleep. The Psalms, for instance, offer many comforting verses. Here's one to start with: "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, LORD, alone make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8 WEB).

Be strong in the Lord, ###. We are standing with you in prayer.

We've been thinking about you, ###, and we wanted to add our voices to the prayers being lifted up on your behalf. We're sorry to hear about the demonic nightmares you've been facing, but we're reminded of God's promise in Psalm 91:5-6, "You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday." We claim this promise over you, dear friend.

We encourage you to not only cry out to Jesus but also to invite the Holy Spirit into your sleep. As it's written, "Your presence, Lord, fills this place, and your Spirit strengthens us" (Isaiah 6:3, NLT). Ask the Holy Spirit to fill your room and protect you while you sleep.

Additionally, we suggest creating a peaceful sleep environment. This could include playing soft worship music, using essential oils like lavender, or simply ensuring your room is dark and quiet. God wants us to take care of our physical bodies (1 Corinthians 6:20), and a good night's sleep is part of that.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up ### to You. We ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around them, protecting them from all harm and giving them peaceful sleep. Fill their dreams with Your goodness and Your love, in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
