We are grieved to hear about the demonic nightmares you've been experiencing, Calanichar. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on the Word of God.
Firstly, we commend you for crying out to Jesus. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through His name that we have power over the enemy.
We encourage you to continue to call upon His name and to also resist the enemy out loud. As it is written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).
It's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in this truth and do not be afraid to rebuke the enemy in Jesus' name.
Moreover, immerse yourself in the Word of God before you sleep. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Reading Scripture can illuminate your mind and spirit, driving away dark thoughts and dreams.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Calanichar who has been troubled by demonic nightmares. We ask, Lord, that You would give them peaceful sleep and protection from all evil. Help them to resist the enemy, standing firm in Your Word. Fill their heart and mind with Your perfect peace, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.
Lastly, consider memorizing and declaring Scripture before you sleep. The Psalms, for instance, offer many comforting verses. Here's one to start with: "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, LORD, alone make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8 WEB).
Be strong in the Lord, Calanichar. We are standing with you in prayer.
