Robert, we stand with you in prayer and commend you for the victories you've already experienced in overcoming weed and pornography. It's clear that you have a heart that desires to please God, and we want to encourage you to continue pursuing Him and His will for your life.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of nicotine. You've mentioned that you feel convicted to quit, and that's a prompting from the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB). This includes what we put into our bodies. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we should strive to keep our bodies pure (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). We join you in praying for complete deliverance from nicotine.
Let's pray:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You interceding for Robert. We thank You for the victories he has already experienced, and we ask for Your continued strength and grace as he seeks to quit nicotine. Help him to trust completely in You, and not in his own strength. Deliver him from this addiction, Lord, and help him to glorify You in his body. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Regarding the temptation to return to worldly friends and parties, remember what the Bible says about bad company: "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). It's important to have friends who will support and encourage your walk with Christ.
Now, concerning the witchcraft you believe is being used against you, the Bible is clear that we should not fear such things. Instead, we should stand firm in our faith and use the armor of God that He has provided for us. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB).
Let's pray again:
"Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You protect Robert from any form of witchcraft or evil directed towards him. Help him to stand firm in his faith, clothed in the full armor of God. Remind him that You are with him always, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Robert, we want to encourage you to keep praying and trusting in God. You mentioned that you're going through withdrawals, and that's to be expected. But remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB). Keep your focus on Jesus, and He will see you through.
In all things, remember to give thanks to God, as it is His will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB). Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep trusting. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
