NFL Anthem Protests: Bad Fruit of Division (Mark 3:24, Matt 12:25)...

NFL Protests Against National Anthem: "By Their Fruits You Will Recognize Them" (Luke 8:44)... This is Not of God Because it Bears the Bad Fruit of Division (Mark 3:24, Matt 12:25)...

I agree with kneeling before almighty God to request his beneficence, but is that what the NFL players who refuse to salute the American Flag during the National Anthem are doing? Are they teaching prayer and repentance to Almighty God in the humility of Jesus Christ to the youth that look up to them? Are they telling their drunken fans to turn away from alcohol and drugs (Every third commercial is a beer commercial, and there is minimal drug testing for Steroids and Performance Enhancing Drugs), Covetousness (Every fourth commercial has us lusting for a newer, cooler automobile) and sexual immorality (for which even high school football players are notorious, it progresses in college and is flagrant in the NFL)?

Are those who refuse to salute the American Flag being discriminated against anyway, by being paid less money than other football players? The NFL is one of the arenas that shows a person is paid by their performance, not their skin color or background (and certainly not their scholastic achievements). So could it be is is just a manifestation of rebellion against authority and society that gives vent to more rage and division that they are using their prominence to forward and the news media is happy to fuel?

With all good conscience, it is the latter and not the former...This is not a prayer meeting for revival but an act of rebellion which the false news airs 24/7 in order to divide a nation against itself, so that it cannot stand (Mark 3:24, Matt 12:25). I see it as a device of the devil to further the friction in the nation. God is not the author of confusion, or a God of disorder, but of peace (1 Cor 14:33, 2 Cor 2:11). Their is no offering of Thanksgiving for the good graces God has bestowed upon them (Rom 1:21)...

I'd like to see these rebels find another country that will treat them more equitably or pay them move favorably than the U.S. Were ISIS to come to the U.S., they'd most likely renounce all and embrace the teachings of Mohamed, if some of them have not already...

Thank you for Alejandro Villanueva "who proudly wore the American flag on his military uniform during three tours in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger. He stood alone at Soldier Field, emerging as the national anthem rang out, while the rest of his team (The Pittsburgh Steelers) stood in a dark tunnel behind him." Bless him for his "giving honor to whom honor is due" (Rom 13:7).

I will personally never watch or attend another NFL football game as long as the league allows these disrespectful protests. They can keep their disrespect to themselves -- yes, the American Flag represents all that America has stood for until the present -- Oh, I forgot that History has been forgotten or re-written erroneously, and most people don't know it except those who lived it. I am not the only American who feels this way. MAY AMERICA BOYCOTT THE GOD OF SUNDAY FOOTBALL and go back to "keep(ing) the sabbath holy unto the Lord," (Exodus 20:8), so that pastors can teach freely from the pulpit, without worrying about "stepping on anyone's toes by going so long the congregants miss the pre-game show! Judge a tree by its fruit, Jesus said (Luke 6:44). The fruit of this is division!

In Jesus' Name.

Father, we should know them by their fruit. I pray that mankind would worry less about material and material things and return to the true teaching of your word. Many are doing things to keep parishioners or members in their fold.

Father, I know you do not care for burnt offerings or worshipping of things yet many of us hold fast to such

Lord, I want to see our preachers return to the scriptures and to doing what pleases you and not worrying about pleasing mankind.

Father, I pray that we will recognize that we were all created in the image of God.All of us live, breath and hath our being.None of us can make a living breathing man and all should be treated equally .

I pray that men of the cloth would speak out like Amos and all the prophets of old did and not stay silent, lest they are persecuted also.Lord, you did not give us a spirit of fear.Heal your world and let all of us praise your name together as you intended .this I ask In Jesu name AMEN

Amen Brother! I stand in agreement with you. I refuse to watch another NFL game. I have too many family members and friends that have fought for this country to be disrespected by idiots. You must Never cease in prayer for peace in your life and in your home. God Bless You! Amen.

It's crazy how "entitled" some people feel when they start making millions of dollars. They feel they can be belligerent to the United States of America on public television and on sports channels -- "respect authority" (Romans 13).

"Then the LORD said to me, 'The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility and the deception of their own minds.'"

Jer 14:14

Amen. The only knee I will "bend" is before the Lord! God blessed us with the greatest nation in the history of man. And what they have done in essence is to say "no thank you Lord, it isn't good enough"!! What does the Lord do with an ungreatful, unthankful people? All we have to do is look at history and see.

Their is no offering of Thanksgiving for the good graces God has bestowed upon them (Rom 1:21)... "They did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened." In Romans 1:24, 26 & 28 it says therefore God gave them over to the lusts of their hearts, degrading passions and a depraved mind -- all stemming from the refusal to Honor God and Give Him Thanks...

Lack of thanksgiving leads to darkening of the heart. I have searched and searched in Genesis for a place where Adam gave thanks for all God gave him and have come up with nothing. The lack of thanksgiving to God puts a silent force in motion. That's why Paul says to give thanks in every situation, for this is God's will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thes 5:18).
