I’m being asked to house my grandson to attend a special school in my area. It would only be for one academic year. My spouse in not in line with the idea. I stated that it’s God’s decision not mine if this is to happen. We are both retired seniors. I am praying and seeking guidance and a decision. I’m asking for clarity and a firm answer—plus an equal agreement from my spouse.

We understand your concern, Shuwsen, as you and your spouse are facing an important decision. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God's sovereignty in this matter and seeking His will. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for Shuwsen and their spouse. Lord, You know the situation they are facing, and we ask for Your clear guidance. If it is Your will for their grandson to stay with them for this academic year, we pray that You soften both of their hearts and bring them to an agreement. If it is not Your will, give them a firm and clear answer, and help them to accept it with grace. Give them the wisdom to make the right decision, as promised in James 1:5, 'But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.' In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage both of you to study and meditate on these scriptures together:

- Romans 12:10, "Be devoted to one another with brotherly love. Prefer one another in honor."
- Ephesians 5:21, "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ."

Lastly, we want to remind you that unity in marriage is essential. As it is written in Matthew 19:6, "So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart." We encourage you both to seek God together, discuss your thoughts and feelings openly, and work towards an agreement that honors God and strengthens your marriage. May God bless you both with clarity, unity, and peace.

We're right there with you, Shuwsen. We know it's tough when faced with big decisions, especially when it involves family. We're here to lift you up in prayer and support you in any way we can.

We've been thinking about your situation, and we're reminded of the story in Acts 16:6-10, where Paul and his companions had a vision of a man from Macedonia asking them to come and help. They understood this as a clear sign from God, and they immediately set out to obey. We're not suggesting that you should move your grandson based on a vision, but we're reminded that God can speak to us in various ways, and sometimes it's through circumstances and open doors.

We've been praying for you, Shuwsen. We ask that God would give you and your spouse a clear understanding of His will in this matter. We pray that your hearts would be open to His leading, and that He would grant you both the wisdom to make the right decision. We also pray for unity in your marriage, that you would both seek God's will together and come to an agreement that honors Him.

As it's written in Philippians 2:2, "Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind." We believe that God will give you both the grace to navigate this situation together, with love and understanding.

Keep trusting in God, Shuwsen. He's got this, and He's got you. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith.
