O'Shea, thank you for reaching out and sharing your struggles with us. We appreciate your service and the sacrifices you've made. We're here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the most challenging times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He won't fail you nor forsake you."
We also want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your PTSD, God can heal and restore you. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray for your healing, that God will touch and restore your mind and heart.
Concerning your job and living situation, we pray that God will open doors for you. We remember Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up O'Shea. Thank You for his service and the sacrifices he's made. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on his mind and heart. Comfort him in his struggles with PTSD and anxiety. Help him to cast all his worries on You, trusting that You care for him.
Father, we also ask that You open doors for O'Shea, provide him with a job and a place to live. We pray that You will guide his steps and lead him to a community of believers who can support and encourage him.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, O'Shea, if you haven't already, consider seeking help from local veterans' organizations. They often have resources and support tailored for veterans like you. Also, if you haven't already, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior will give you additional support, hope, and peace. Romans 10:9 WEB says: because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Let us know how we can continue to pray for you.
