We understand your concern about the new neighbors and the challenges you've been facing. Firstly, it's important to remember that God commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves, even in difficult situations. As it is written in Mark 12:31, "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
However, this does not mean we should ignore or accept harmful behavior. We should pray for their salvation and peace, but also for wisdom and protection for ourselves. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We pray for our new neighbors. We pray that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We pray that You would deliver them from any bondage of addiction and bring peace to their lives. We also pray for our safety and the safety of our community. We ask that You would bring strength and rest to us as we navigate this situation. Give us wisdom to know how to act and respond, and help us to love them as You have loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Lastly, we should not judge our neighbors by their appearance or past actions, but rather show them the love of Christ and trust that God can change any heart. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart."
Keep trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is able to bring peace and resolution to this situation. Continue to seek His will and pray for your neighbors, that they may know the Lord and live in peace.
