We understand your pain, Epilix, and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance based on God's Word. Let's first address your request for a new love. We read in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB): "Love is patient and is kind; love doesnβt envy. Love doesnβt brag, is not proud, doesnβt behave itself inappropriately, doesnβt seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesnβt rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."
We pray that God will heal your heart and prepare you for the love that He has planned for you. We ask that you trust in His timing, knowing that He knows the desires of your heart. Remember, God's will is for you to be in a relationship that glorifies Him, so we pray for a godly spouse who will love and accept you, seeing your wounds as opportunities for love and healing, just as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25-27).
However, we want to gently remind you that the focus should not be on finding someone who will not leave you due to your flaws, but rather on growing in Christ and allowing Him to work on those areas. It's essential to pursue holiness and become more like Jesus (1 Peter 1:15-16).
Regarding your job, we read in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB): "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that God will provide you with a job that not only supports you financially but also allows you to grow mentally and spiritually.
For your uncle Andrew, we turn to James 5:14-15 (WEB): "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We join you in praying for his healing, strength, and provision for his sons.
Lastly, we want to remind you that you are never alone. In Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), God promises, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." Trust in His love and presence, and may the peace of God guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Epilix. Comfort their heart, Lord, and guide them according to Your will. Prepare them for the love You have planned, provide them with a job that honors You, and heal their uncle Andrew. May Epilix feel Your presence and trust in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
