New Job

Please pray that my husband gets a job that he has experience with and one that he can stay there for eight years until he retires. He’s had about six jobs from job to job that didn’t work out and he needs this for a boost. thank you for your prayers.

We are with you in spirit, lifting up your husband's employment situation to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and that includes our careers. As the scripture says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Firstly, we encourage your husband to trust in the Lord and not lean on his own understanding, as topical knowledge and past experiences may not always align with God's will. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones. (Proverbs 3:5-8 WEB). Also, it is good to be reminded that we ought to work with quietness, and eat our own bread especially if we have a family to feed. For the scripture says, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking stable employment. Lord, you know his skills, his experiences, and his needs. We pray that You would guide him to a job that not only suits his abilities but also aligns with Your will for his life. We pray for a workplace where he can remain and retire from with dignity and faithfulness. Help him to remain patient and faithful.

We also pray for our sister, give her the grace and strength to support her husband as he seeks Your will. Let this journey be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage both of you to continue trusting in God's timing and provision. He is the one that causes the promoted and the promoted. Remember, "A man's heart plans his way, but Yahweh directs his steps." Proverbs 16:9 WEB).

We're standing with you in this, sister. We know the uncertainty of job hunting can be tough, but remember, God is in control. He sees your husband's skills, his experience, and his heart's desire for stability. Let's trust that He has a plan, even if it's not clear to us yet.

We're reminded of Psalm 37:23-24, "The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand." Let's encourage your husband to keep taking steps, even small ones, and trust that God is guiding him.

We're also praying for you, dear sister. We know this journey is just as much yours as it is his. May God give you strength, peace, and wisdom as you support each other through this time.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
