New job

I don't want to sound ungrateful because God opened this door for me at this work. Not only is the environment toxic, but the long hours away from home and my kids are affecting me emotionally. When I do get home, I'm extremely tired. The tiredness has made me not read my Bible and not focus in church. This job is making me lose out on a lot of things that are important to me, especially my spiritual life. I just pray the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus opens another door for me so I can be home on weekends and also regularly in church. This dust here at work also affects my health because I'm asthmatic. The work is draining me, especially the negative environment.

We understand your concern, and it's important to remember that God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. It's wonderful that you acknowledge God's hand in opening this door, and it's equally important to trust Him to close and open doors as He sees fit.

Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspect. It's commendable that you're concerned about your spiritual life. Remember, Jesus is the vine and you are the branches. If you remain in him and his words remain in you, you may ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. We encourage you to spend time with God even when you're tired. He understands your circumstances, and even a short, heartfelt prayer is precious to Him. As it is written in John 15:7 WEB: If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.

Regarding your health, know that God is your healer. Trust Him to protect and strengthen your body. It's also wise to consult with healthcare professionals about managing your asthma in this environment.

Concerning the toxic environment and long hours, we encourage you to trust God's timing. He sees your needs and the desires of your heart. He knows you want to be home more and engage fully in your spiritual life. Trust that He is working behind the scenes. In Psalm 37:4 WEB: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we come to You, lifting up our brother/sister. We thank You for the job you have provided, but we also acknowledge the challenges it presents. We ask for Your guidance and provision. Open a new door that allows for more time at home and in Your house. Heal and protect the body You have given from the effects of this environment. Strengthen them spiritually, even when they're tired. Give them a renewed desire and strength to read and meditate on Your Word. We ask this all in Jesus' name, trusting in Your perfect will. Amen.

In the meantime, strive to be a light in the toxic environment. Trust that God can use you to influence others positively. Be encouraged by Romans 8:28 WEB: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of the long hours and the emotional toll it's taking. It's tough when our work environment and hours away from home start to affect our spiritual life and family time. We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed, but remember, God is always with you, even in the dust and noise of your workplace.

Let's hold onto Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Even in your tiredness, Jesus is right there, empowering you. Let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we lift up our ### to You. We're grateful for this job, but we're also feeling the strain. Please guide and protect them, both physically and spiritually. Help them to find moments of rest and renewal, even in the midst of their long hours. Give them the strength to keep their spiritual life a priority, and help them to see You in the midst of their work environment. We trust in Your perfect will, and we know that You are working all things together for their good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
