Thank you for sharing your prayer request, Iambuios. We stand with you in seeking God's will for your new job. We are grateful that you have invoked the precious name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and His blessings. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we rejoice with you for the prospect of a new job. It is our prayer that this job will be a space where you can flourish and use the gifts God has bestowed upon you. We pray that it will also be a platform for you to shine your light and be a witness for Christ. As it is said in Matthew 5:16 (WEB), "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
Regarding your concern about night shifts, we understand your desire for a more favorable schedule. We pray that God, in His infinite wisdom, will grant you a job with hours that align with your needs. Remember, God is mindful of our needs and wants us to rest in Him. As seen in Psalm 127:2 (WEB), "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved."
However, we also encourage you to be open to God's will, whatever that may be. If He does lead you to a job with night shifts, trust that He has a purpose and grace sufficient for you. As it is said in Philippians 4:11-13 (WEB), "Not that I speak according to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
