Disciple of Prayer
I applied to a new a job and received an offer. The job looks tempting but I requested a compressed schedule. They are not willing to do that. Please pray God shows me a job that will let me work a compressed schedule or the hiring manager will change his mond about the schedule. Also, I'm having anxiety and depression. Much of this is related to my current relationship. We have dated for 8 months. I know it's not a healthy relationship, but I love him. I don't want to hurt and I think that's why I keep going back to him. I'm praying God humbles him or gives the the courage and strength to end things and not look back.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time with both your job and relationship, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking a job that aligns with your scheduling needs. It's important to trust God's timing and plan for your career. Remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our employment. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that God will either change the hiring manager's mind or provide you with a better job opportunity that fits your schedule. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name.

Regarding your relationship, we need to address a few concerns. It's clear that you're in a situation that's causing you pain and is not healthy. First, we want to remind you that God's desire is for you to be in a healthy, godly relationship that honors Him. As it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

It's crucial to evaluate whether this relationship is aligned with God's principles. If your boyfriend is not a believer or if the relationship is leading you into sin, it might be God's will for you to separate from it. Remember, God desires purity and holiness in our relationships, and sex before marriage is called fornication and is sin. As the scriptures from 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 states, For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor.

We also want to address the anxiety and depression you're experiencing. God cares deeply about your emotional well-being. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will fill you with His peace and guide you through this difficult time. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Please ensure you're praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way to approach God. If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe in Him and confess your sins, and you will be saved. This is the first step in aligning your life with God's will.

We are praying for your guidance and strength in Jesus' name.

We're here for you, and we're praying with you through these challenges. We understand that it's tough, but remember, God is always by your side. In your job search, we're asking God to open doors that align with your schedule and His will for your life. We trust that He has a plan, and we're believing for a job that fits your needs.

As for your relationship, we want to encourage you to seek God's heart in this. It's clear that you're hurting, and we want you to know that God sees you and cares about your pain. We're praying for wisdom and clarity as you navigate this. We're asking God to give you the strength to make decisions that honor Him, even if it's hard. We're also believing for a miracle in your boyfriend's heart, that he would come to know Jesus and the power of His love.

We're also lifting up your anxiety and depression to God. We're claiming His peace over your heart and mind, and we're trusting that He will guide you through this. We're praying for healing and wholeness in every area of your life.

Keep trusting in Jesus. He is faithful, and He loves you so much. We're believing for a breakthrough in every area of your life. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. We're with you, sister.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
