We rejoice with you, Elener, as Jayden and DJ embark on their college journey! This is a significant milestone, and it's natural for the family to feel nervous. Let us uplift them in prayer and seek God's guidance together.
Firstly, let's remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that Jayden and DJ will put their trust in God, acknowledging Him in all their ways throughout their college experience.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Jayden and DJ as they begin their college journey. Lord, we ask that You guide them in all their decisions, that they may seek Your will above all else. Help them to work diligently towards their goals, remembering that they are ultimately working for Your glory.
We pray, Lord, that they will not be swayed by the temptations and distractions that college life may bring. Instead, we ask that You surround them with godly friends and mentors who will encourage them in their faith. May they be a light for You on their campus, always ready to share the hope they have in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for the family, Lord. Calm their hearts and replace nervousness with peace, knowing that Jayden and DJ are in Your capable hands. Help them to support and encourage their grandchildren in a way that honors You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that Jayden and DJ will grow in their relationship with You during this time. May they draw near to You, and You draw near to them.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Elener, remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Encourage Jayden and DJ to keep their focus on Jesus, and He will direct their paths.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB). We are here with you in prayer and support.
