New housing

Can you please pray that I am able to find decent housing, for some reason I am having a difficult time trying to move, please pray that I get accepted Into the recent apts I applied to..and please pray for my oldest grandson, he likes to smoke weed but it is affecting his life, he doesn't want ro work or be responsible anymore, he even left the military, after he started smoking weed, please pray God will open his eyes to see he is ruining his own life and he needs to be responsible.

We understand your concerns, Funaelas, and we are here to pray and counsel with you.

Firstly, regarding your housing situation, we are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We pray that the Lord will open the right doors for you to find decent housing. May He guide your steps and grant you favor in the eyes of the apartment managers. We pray that you will trust in His timing and provision, knowing that He cares for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Now, concerning your oldest grandson, we must address the issue of substance abuse and irresponsibility. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8 (WEB) to "be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We rebuke the enemy's hold on your grandson's life and pray that God will grant him a clear mind and self-control.

We also pray that the Holy Spirit will convict your grandson of the harm he is doing to himself and his future. Galatians 6:7-8 (WEB) reminds us, "Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."

Moreover, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to come boldly before God in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Funaelas to You, Lord, and ask that You guide her steps as she seeks new housing. Open the right doors for her and grant her favor. We also lift up her oldest grandson to You. We pray that You will break the chains of addiction in his life and grant him a clear mind and self-control. Open his eyes to see the harm he is doing to himself, and draw him closer to You. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.

Stand firm in your faith, Funaelas, and continue to trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God.

For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."
