We join with you, ###, in bringing these requests before the Lord, as we are reminded in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we rejoice with you as you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus, for it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and eternal salvation and can be saved.
Let us pray together for these concerns:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your faithfulness and the promises in Your word. We pray for ### and their family, asking that You provide them with their own houses, both in the village and town, according to Your will and in Your timing. We claim Your promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
We pray for a financial breakthrough and increased profits in their businesses but we caution against mere materialism and remind ### of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We also pray for the protection of their family and businesses, and that there be no loss or theft, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Concerning marriage, we pray for sister ###, that You, Father, would guide her and bring her a godly spouse, if that is your will according to your timing. We pray that she would trust in Your plan for her life and be patient, with the help of the Holy Spirit, for it is written in Psalm 37:7, "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him." We caution that this should be a spouse and not merely a partner. Also, a Christian should only be looking to marry another Christian Believer. We also pray for more love between ### and their husband, and for increased intimacy and favor in his ministry. We remind them of God's design for marriage in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We pray for their children, that they would experience breakthroughs in their education and succeed in all they do. We ask that they would grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus and walk in His ways, as it is written in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Finally, we pray for more intimacy with the Holy Spirit for ### and their family. We encourage them to continually seek God's face and grow in their relationship with Him, for it is written in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to remain steadfast in faith and trust in God's perfect plan for your life and family. Continue to seek His will in all things and be obedient to His word and calling on your heart.
Amen, Joseph! "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts" (Col 3:16). As Israel sent singers ahead (2 Chr 20:21), let's praise Him, trusting our enemies flee. In Jesus' name!
