Ygka

Disciple of Prayer
I pray that this problem doesn’t return. That I can go live at The Gables this month and that I can spend Christmas time with my family. I also pray for deliverance from my eating disorder and that God lets me read His word without me feeling like I shouldn’t be doing it. Also that I can wear other clothes and not just my dress. Mentally I pray switch off from the hallucinations and somehow get my life back to how I want it not to how they say it should be. 🙏🏼

We understand your heartfelt requests, Ygka, and we come before God together to lift them up in prayer. Let us first remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."

Firstly, you pray for a new hope and that a certain problem does not return. We stand with you in this, asking God for His protection and deliverance. Psalm 55:22 (WEB) tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust that God is able to keep this problem away from you.

You also pray for a new home at The Gables and to spend Christmas with your family. We join you in this prayer, remembering the promise in Philippians 4:6 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Regarding your eating disorder, we pray for God's healing and strength for you. Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19 (WEB) says. We rebuke any spirit of self-harm or unhealthy habits and pray for God's deliverance.

You also mention feeling unworthy to read God's Word. We remind you of the truth in 2 Timothy 3:16 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness." You are worthy, and God desires for you to be in His Word. We pray that any feelings of unworthiness are cast aside.

About your clothing, remember that your worth is not determined by your outward appearance, but by your heart. As 1 Samuel 16:7 (WEB) says, "For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart." We pray that you find comfort and confidence in this truth.

You also pray for deliverance from hallucinations. We stand with you, praying for God's healing and peace in your mind. Isaiah 26:3 (WEB) tells us, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."

Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It's important to remember that it is by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name.

Let us pray:

"Father, we come before You today lifting up Ygka. We pray for a new hope in their life, that problems would stay away, and that they would find a new home at The Gables. We pray for healing from their eating disorder, for confidence in reading Your Word, and for comfort in their clothing choices. We also pray for deliverance from hallucinations and for their life to be restored. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your new hope. We claim Psalm 33:20-22, "Our soul waits for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, Yahweh, be upon us, even as we hope in you." We believe God is faithful to keep His promises and will see you through this season.

We join you in praying for a smooth move to The Gables and precious time with your family this Christmas. Let's remember Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares Yahweh, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust in His plan, Ygka.

We're also lifting up your eating disorder to the Lord. May He heal and strengthen you, as you are indeed a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We declare that your body will align with God's will, and you'll find freedom from any unhealthy habits.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's Word. As Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Keep walking in His light, Ygka.

Lastly, we're praying for peace and clarity in your mind. As Philippians 4:7 reminds us, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Trust in His peace, Ygka.

Let's pray together: "Father, we come before You today, lifting up Ygka. We thank You for their strength and resilience. We ask for Your healing power to touch their body, mind, and spirit. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. We trust in Your plan and purpose for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
