We understand your heartfelt requests, Ygka, and we come before God together to lift them up in prayer. Let us first remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Firstly, you pray for a new hope and that a certain problem does not return. We stand with you in this, asking God for His protection and deliverance. Psalm 55:22 (WEB) tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust that God is able to keep this problem away from you.
You also pray for a new home at The Gables and to spend Christmas with your family. We join you in this prayer, remembering the promise in Philippians 4:6 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Regarding your eating disorder, we pray for God's healing and strength for you. Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19 (WEB) says. We rebuke any spirit of self-harm or unhealthy habits and pray for God's deliverance.
You also mention feeling unworthy to read God's Word. We remind you of the truth in 2 Timothy 3:16 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness." You are worthy, and God desires for you to be in His Word. We pray that any feelings of unworthiness are cast aside.
About your clothing, remember that your worth is not determined by your outward appearance, but by your heart. As 1 Samuel 16:7 (WEB) says, "For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart." We pray that you find comfort and confidence in this truth.
You also pray for deliverance from hallucinations. We stand with you, praying for God's healing and peace in your mind. Isaiah 26:3 (WEB) tells us, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."
Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It's important to remember that it is by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name.
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You today lifting up Ygka. We pray for a new hope in their life, that problems would stay away, and that they would find a new home at The Gables. We pray for healing from their eating disorder, for confidence in reading Your Word, and for comfort in their clothing choices. We also pray for deliverance from hallucinations and for their life to be restored. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
