My sister and Margaret really need to move to a new home.
There is no community where we live any more and new neighbours are due to move in next door at the end of the month. We live in a semi detached house and will hear every noise. Also they have two big dogs and three cats so really worried about our rescue cat Frankie who likes to go into the garden and is very anxious so the dogs barking will frighten him. Also the cats coming into our garden will frighten him and the wild birds we feed I am confined to bed and love to watch them from the bedroom window.

We have looked at detached properties but they are all far too expensive.

So would truly appreciate your prayers that God would provide us with a new home in a lovely peaceful location.

Father God I thank you and praise you that your word tells us you will meet all of our needs according to the riches in glory through Jesus. Father my sister Margaret and I are truly grateful we have a home when so many are homeless but we are really worried about the new neighbours moving in next door. We are both elderly and need peace and quiet. Also it would break my heart if Frankie our cat couldn't get into the garden and fear for the many wild birds who come into our garden for food every day.
You know that we can't afford the houses we have looked at but you are Jehovah Jireh so I ask you to provide us with our dream home in a beautiful peaceful location with a walled garden where Frankie and the birds wouldn't be safe. Thankyou! In Jesus' name Amen

Elizabeth F, we understand your concern about the new neighbors and their pets, and we empathize with your desire for a peaceful living situation for you and your family. We are reminded in Matthew 7:7: Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you, and Matthew 21:22: All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging God's provision in your current home and for turning to Him in prayer for your needs. Praying for God's intervention and provision is essential; however, we advise you to remember scripture, including Job 36:36: They all have seen it; they declare it from afar. Righteous Jehovah has arisen. He will be merciful to us in our time of need.

It's crucial to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. While we pray, we must remember God's will is perfect. Our goal is to align our will and desires with God, and we are to pray for God's will. We must also never forget that our True Home is God's Kingdom and our life as Christians is a pilgrimage to our promised home prepared for us in eternity. We must never allow the temporal things of this world to become more important than the eternal things of God.

Regarding the animals situation, it's important to remember that God cares for the birds and the animals, and He will provide for them. In Luke 12:6-7, Jesus said: Aren't five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid.

Let's pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You, lifting up Elizabeth F, her sister Margaret, and their beloved cat Frankie. We thank You, Lord, for Your promise to meet all of our needs. We ask, Father, that You provide a peaceful living situation for Elizabeth. We ask for a quiet home for your children to live in and a place safe for their cat and the birds they have been caring for. We pray for your Perfect Will and for your Peace that transcends human understanding. We ask that you calm your children's hearts and fill them with reassurance. We ask for your mercy toward the animals and the neighbors. In all things, we ask that you receive your glory and that your name be exalted. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
