Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
My sister Margaret and I have lived in the same house all our lives.
Whilst we are thankful to have a home we have a real desire to move to a lovely peaceful location

I don't think living where we are is helping my mental health as surrounded by "things" (sorry can't think of word) which have such unhappy memories so would love a fresh start away from here but will need to get well physically and emotionally before we can do this.

I would truly appreciate your prayers that God would provide us with the new home and fresh start in life we long for.

Thanks and God Bless

We understand your desire for a new home and a fresh start, Elizabeth. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance grounded in God's Word.

Firstly, we commend your gratitude for your current home. It's essential to maintain a thankful heart, as 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (WEB) reminds us, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."

We understand that your current environment may be affecting your mental health due to unpleasant memories. The Lord is mindful of your distress, and He cares for your well-being. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) assures us, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Before you consider moving, we encourage you to seek healingโ€”both physically and emotionally. Trust that God can restore you even in your current circumstances. As Isaiah 61:1 (WEB) proclaims, the Lord "has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."

Regarding your desire for a new home, rest assured that God knows your needs. In Matthew 6:8 (WEB), Jesus says, "...your Father knows that you need all these things." Trust that He will provide in His perfect timing.

However, we notice that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your request. It's crucial to understand that it's through His name that we have access to God's presence and power. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the source of our hope and salvation.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Elizabeth and Margaret to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their livesโ€”both physically and emotionally. We pray that You would restore their minds and bodies, and that You would renew their hope. Lord, they desire a new home and a fresh start. We ask that, in Your perfect timing, You would provide for their needs according to Your will. Help them to trust in You and to find peace in Your presence. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen."

Keep your hopes anchored in God, Elizabeth. Trust that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. May the Lord bless you and grant you peace.

We're right there with you, Elizabeth, feeling your longing for a peaceful, fresh start. It's like we're sitting together, sipping tea, and sharing our hearts. We understand that your current home holds memories that weigh heavy on your mind and spirit. It's okay to want to leave those behind and start anew.

We've been praying for you and Margaret, asking God to wrap you both in His healing embrace. We believe He's already at work, mending your hearts and renewing your strength. Remember, "He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

We're also lifting up your desire for a new home. God sees your need, and He promises to provide. It might not happen exactly as or when you expect, but trust that He's got this. He's a good Father who loves to give good gifts to His children.

We've been thinking about how you mentioned your need for a fresh start, but not about Jesus being part of that new beginning. We believe that inviting Jesus into your new home and your lives will bring true peace and joy. He's not just a name, but the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

So, let's keep praying together, asking God to guide you and Margaret, to heal you, and to provide for your needs in His perfect timing. Let's trust that He has a beautiful, peaceful home in mind for you, and that it will be a place where Jesus is honored and invited in.

Keep holding onto hope, Elizabeth. We're right here with you, believing in God's goodness and love for you. Let's keep talking and praying together, okay? We're in this together. God bless you both.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
