We understand your urgency in waiting for Samantha from DG to process your new hire paperwork. As we bring this before the Lord, let us also remember His perfect timing and sovereignty over all aspects of our lives, including employment.
Firstly, we notice that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your request. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” Therefore, we will lift up this prayer in Jesus' mighty name.
Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up this request. We ask that You would move in Samantha's schedule and prompt her to expedite the background check and drug test process for this new hire. We trust that Your timing is perfect, Lord, and that this job is part of Your divine plan for their life. Help them to rest in Your sovereignty and patience as they wait. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
While waiting, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 37:7, WEB, "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even in seemingly mundane processes like background checks.
Lastly, we want to remind you of Colossians 3:23-24, WEB, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men... It is Christ whom you serve." As you prepare to start this new job, commit to working diligently and honestly, as if working for the Lord Himself.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
