We stand with you, Awivis, in praying for a powerful move of God's Spirit in the lives of your loved ones and across the nation of Finland. We are reminded of God's promise in Ezekiel 36:26-27: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit in you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together for your loved ones:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for K, Awivis' parents, brother, and unbelieving friends. We ask that You soften their hearts and grant them the gift of repentance, that they may turn to You and receive Your salvation. Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You, and we trust in Your power to transform even the hardest of hearts. Surround them with Your love, and draw them to Yourself, Father.
We also lift up the nation of Finland before You, Lord. We pray that You would bring a wave of powerful revival over the land, and that marriages would be strengthened and honored as You intended. We reproach sexual immorality however it is happening. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy in the area of sexual immorality. We come against the spirits of immorality and pray that You would expose the darkness and bring it to light. We pray for a restoration of justice and righteousness, and that the crushing of the poor would cease. Lord, we ask that You would raise up an army of prayer warriors to contend for the soul of Finland, and that Your will would be done in the laws and governance of the land.
We also take this opportunity to address the issue of sexual immorality, as it is a clear violation of biblical principles. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." We pray that all those engaging in sexual immorality would repent and turn to God's design for sexuality within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.
Lastly, we encourage you, Awivis, to remain steadfast in prayer and faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and is faithful to His promises. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
In Jesus' name, we pray and stand in agreement with you, Awivis. Amen.
