We stand with you, Awivis, in your fervent prayers for K, your family, friends, and the nation of Finland. We are reminded of the power of God's promise in Ezekiel 36:26-27: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit in you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We join you in praying for K and your loved ones, that their hearts may be changed and turned towards Christ. We pray that they may experience the truth of 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
Regarding to the sexual immorality in the nation of Finland, we claim 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." The sin of sexual immorality is serious, such that God calls us to flee from it rather than resist it. It has an addictive, consuming, owning quality to it. Christians who believe that sex outside of marriage is now permitted either know very little of the Scriptures or pay no attention to the Scriptures. It does result in a loss of a relationship with God and an attachment to the sin of sexual immorality. Those in the rituals of sexual immorality and self indulgence have no inheritance in the kingdom of God as stated in Ephesians 5:5, "For know this, that no sexually immoral, unclean, nor covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God." A revival starts by addressing immorality especially of the sexual kind.
We stand with you in praying for a wave of revival over Finland, for the sanctity of marriage to be honored, and for justice to prevail. We pray that God will raise up an army of praying saints to wage war against the dark principalities trying to destroy your nation. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
We pray that God will expose the filth and immorality, and that His light will shine in the darkness. As 1 Peter 2:9 says of us, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.".
We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for your nation, and as He continues, have the confidence in the words of 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." Your words claim a connection with the Holy Spirit, so in the strongest possible terms we tell you that you will overcome any dark principalities that want to rob or destroy your people. Your prayers are powerful and effective as James prays for a similar purpose in James 5:16, "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Do not forget as he continues toalsays in James 5 verses 17 and 18, "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it didn't rain on the earth for three years and six months. He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit.'
So carry on praying as we pray that Finland will experience a powerful revival, and that the hearts of your loved ones will be turned towards Christ in His name and by His blood and for His sake.
Finally, don't be discouraged, but in our prayers however, the realization of the power of your prayers set to see Finland as described in Isaiah 61:3, "to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." we sense that a revival may be near. See the glory of Christ soon arriving in some kind of a manifestation that results in the glory of Christ almost rising like the sun upon your people bringing joy and joyous fulfillment by a revival of many souls being saved soon and giving glory to the Father through the Holy Spirit. So we will all look to the time of Isaiah 61:3, being fulfilled soon in that by you in your prayers and by our prayers and soon fulfillment of the great revival of căliving as christians in Finland.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
