We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we're here to support you in prayer and with biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even when things seem bleak, God is at work behind the scenes.
Regarding your job search, we encourage you to stay faithful and persistent. Remember the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. Just as the widow kept coming to the judge, we should keep coming to God with our requests, trusting that He will answer in His perfect timing. Also, consider Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Concerning your health, we pray that God will heal you and give you strength. Psalm 103:2-3 WEB reminds us, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We also encourage you to seek medical help and support from your community. God often works through doctors and medicines to bring healing.
In your prayer request, you didn't mention Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, knowing that He is our mediator and advocate.
Lastly, we want to address your feeling of hopelessness and wondering if you did something to deserve your current situations. Remember, God is not punishing you. We live in a fallen world where sickness and job struggles exist. But God is with you, and He will help you through. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer. We pray that You would open doors for a job that fits their skills and passion. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that the ulcerative colitis would be eased and eventually healed. We pray that they would feel Your presence and peace, and that they would not grow weary or lose heart. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen."
