I’m praying to find a group of friends where we have similar opinions / interests and the support and love I give is reciprocated more. Amen

While it's natural to desire such relationships, we encourage you to approach this situation with biblical principles in mind and pray according to God's will. Remember that the closest friendships are found through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Firstly, it's crucial to surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and build you up in your faith. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? Therefore, seek friendships that will strengthen your walk with Christ and provide godly counsel. Our friendships and marriages should be pulling us closer to God, not away from Him.

Secondly, remember that true friendship is not merely about shared interests or opinions, but about loving and supporting each other as commanded in 1 John 4:7 WEB, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. Seek to be a friend who exemplifies the love of Christ, and trust that God will bring the right people into your life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who desires godly friendships. Thank you for the love of Jesus Christ that lives inside of every believer. Please guide them to a community of believers where they can grow in their faith and experience the mutual support and love that comes from walking with You. Help them to be a true friend to others, reflecting the love of Christ in all their relationships. In Jesus IJN, we pray. Amen.

As a final encouragement, consider the words of Proverbs 18:24 WEB, There are friends who bring ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Trust that God will provide such friends who will walk alongside you in your journey of faith.

We've been thinking about how Paul encourages us in Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV), "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Let's ask God to help us be that kind of friend to others, always ready to listen, support, and love, just as He loves us.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
