New Employment

I was out of work for so long. I prayed to Jesus for the job for so long. Out of the blue, a job found me. A contractor was looking for somebody for the office - I happened to be at the right time and at the right place. I said yes. Since I was out of work for such a long time, I wasn't too picky. There are things that I like, and there are things that the manager promised that may be delivered at the later date. Even though I'm grateful for the job, anxiety is killing me as I don't know what the future holds. I'm scared what if I made a wrong choice? What if every single option that I made about this job is wrong? I'm scared that the manager is not a good man and that he just gave me promises that he won't hold later. Please pray for me in Jesus name for me to feel comfortable with this job. Please pray to God to bless me with the knowledge to do the job properly. Please pray to God so I can work from home comfortably and be flexible. Please pray to God so that the company likes me, and that I have an amazing team. Please to God for the work to be done in a timely manner without stress or long hours. Please pray for me, I feel so lost and scared.

Remember, Jesus promised us in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

First, let us address your anxiety and fears. It is natural to feel uncertain about the future, but we must remember that God is in control. In Matthew 6:34 WEB, Jesus tells us, "So don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." Instead of worrying, let us trust in God's plan for your life and seek His will in this new job.

Regarding your concerns about your manager and the promises made, it is wise to be discerning. We should pray for God to give you wisdom and guidance in navigating this new role. In James 1:5 WEB, it says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the God who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

We also want to address your requests about working from home and having flexibility. While these are valid desires, we must remember that God's will should be our primary concern. In Romans 12:2 WEB, it says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Let us pray for God's will to be done in your life, knowing that He has the best plans for you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who has recently secured a new job. We thank You for this blessing and ask for Your continued guidance and protection over their life.

Lord, we pray for peace and comfort in this new role. Help them to feel at ease, no matter what comes their way. Help them to find the knowledge and skills needed to work with excellence and faithfulness.

We also ask that You guide any decisions that need to be made in this job. Help them to discern Your will and to walk in Your ways. We pray for a healthy work environment and a team that works together in harmony and for your glory.

Father, if it is in accordance with your will and plan, we ask that you grant flexibility and possible work from home.

In all things, we pray for Your will to be done, and we trust in your wisdom and love. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
