Firstly, it's important to remember that God looks at the heart, not the outward appearance. When seeking a spouse, we should prioritize their character and faith in Jesus Christ, not just their looks. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart." And in Proverbs 31:30, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised." The same applies to men. So, let's pray for a godly spouse who loves the Lord and treats you with kindness and respect.
Secondly, it's crucial to remember that God's will is not about us getting what we want, but about us being conformed to the image of Christ. As it is written in Romans 8:29, "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
