We understand your struggle with sleep deprivation and the impact it has on your life. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your sleep. Psalm 127:2 says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved."
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is in dire need of restful sleep. We know that You are the only place of true rest. Lord, we ask You to grant a deep and good quality sleep tonight and every night, starting right now. We rebuke the spirit of insomnia and sleep deprivation. In Jesus name, we ask and pray, AMEN.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to read and meditate on Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; For you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." Trust in the Lord, and He will give you the rest you need, not just physically, but spiritually as well.
