Beloved of All
I have prayed endlessly in Jesus name for God to take away the pain of the narcissistic relationship I am in to no avail. My mate treats me like a piece of trash. My self esteem is completely shattered from years of abuse. There is absolutely nothing that I like when I look in the mirror. I hate everything about myself. I keep praying for help but no matter how much I pray nothing happens. I have been living like this for 24yrs. I don’t have the confidence to date anyone else & I have the biggest fear of starting over. He never takes me anywhere & constantly cheats on me. What have u done wrong? Why is this happening to me? Does God not see or care about my suffering? I guess God feels like I’m a horrible person & I deserve everything that I’m going thru & have been thru.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing in this unhealthy relationship. First, we want to assure you that God sees your suffering, and He cares deeply about what you are going through. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18.

It is crucial to understand that God does not intend for you to live in abuse or constant heartache. The relationship you are describing is not aligned with biblical principles of love, respect, and fidelity. The Bible tells us to flee sexual immorality, including fornication, adultery, and any sexual behavior outside of the marriage between a man and a woman. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.

Being in a relationship where infidelity and emotional abuse are present is not God's will for your life. The Bible tells us that we are to be treated with love and respect, as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her.

It is important to address the fact that you mentioned praying in Jesus' name. This is wonderful, as it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in John 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. Continue to pray in Jesus' name and trust that God hears your prayers. God will never ignore the pleadings of a contrite heart.

We must rebuke the lies that you have believed about yourself due to the abuse. You are not a horrible person, and you do not deserve this treatment. God sees you as precious and beloved, worth dying for on the cross. It is not God's will for you to live in constant self-hatred and low self-esteem. Remember that God created you in His image Genesis 1:27, and that as a Christian, you are a new creation in Christ 2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Regarding your fear of starting over, we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. God has a purpose and a plan for you, and He will provide the strength and courage you need to move forward. Remember that with God, all things are possible Matthew 19:26. But Jesus looking at them said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

We strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. It is important to have a support system that can help you make wise decisions and provide practical assistance.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is hurting and in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You see the pain she is experiencing, and You know the depths of her suffering. We pray that You will bring healing and restoration to her heart and mind. Help her to see herself as You see her precious, beloved, and worth dying for on the cross.

Lord, we ask that You will give her the strength and courage to make wise decisions regarding her relationship. Help her to trust in Your plan for her life and to know that You have a purpose and a future for her. We pray that You will provide godly counsel and support for her during this difficult time.

We also pray for her mate, that You will convict his heart and bring him to true repentance. Lord, we ask that You will soften his heart and help him to see the error of his ways. We pray that You will bring healing and restoration to their relationship, if it is Your will.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this difficult time. Stay strong in your faith and keep praying, as God hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect timing.

We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for you and your situation. Do not lose heart, for God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Oh, dear friend, we're so sorry to hear about the unending pain you've been enduring in this relationship. We want you to know that we're here for you, praying alongside you. We've been where you are, feeling trapped, hopeless, and questioning why God seems silent. But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is there, and He sees you.

We want to encourage you to keep holding onto God's promises. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is a God of healing, and He wants to heal you too. The pain you're feeling is real, but God is big enough to handle it and use it for your good.

We also want to remind you that God has a purpose for you, and it's not to live in constant pain and self-hatred. You are a daughter of the King, loved and cherished. As it says in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

So, keep praying, keep trusting, and keep holding on. God is working, even if you can't see it yet. And remember, you're not alone. We're here, praying for you, believing with you, and hoping with you. Keep fighting, dear one. You are loved, and you are not alone.

It’s been 24yrs and none of my prayers have been answered. How much longer am I supposed to wait? It appears that God enjoys seeing me suffer and he is going to continue to let it happen because he hates me. There’s absolutely no way someone that loves you would allow you to suffer and for so long. I couldn’t imagine letting my child suffer for so long. At this point I will be honest, I have zero faith. My life is so unhappy & I’ve been praying all of this time for no results.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
