Welall

Humble Prayer Partner
I understand what you said, when He doesn't answer, maybe He has a better answer....well within the last 20 years, He's not answered my prayers and there hasn't been anything better that has come about. So I feel He has closed His ears or just doesn't care!! I'd like at least ONE answer to my prayers!!! I can barely pray anymore, I feel why bother!

We understand your frustration and despair, Welall, but we want to encourage you not to lose heart. God's word tells us, "Let's therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)

Firstly, let's address the fact that God does care. He cares deeply for you, as shown in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." If you feel that God has not been answering your prayers, it could be due to various reasons. It's crucial to remember that God answers in His own time and ways. His thoughts and plans are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Sometimes, unanswered prayers could be due to unconfessed sin (Psalm 66:18), lack of faith (James 1:6-7), or asking with wrong motives (James 4:3). It's also important to note that God's answers come in three ways: 'yes', 'no', or 'wait'. A 'no' or 'wait' can often feel like an unanswered prayer.

Let's also consider this: are your prayers aligned with God's will? John 15:7 tells us, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." God desires to answer our prayers, but they should be in line with His will.

We also notice that you haven't mentioned praying in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB) Praying in Jesus' name is not just a phrase, but it signifies praying in line with His character and will.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus. We lift up Welall, who feels unheard and uncared for. Please reveal Your love and care for them. Give them the faith to continue praying, the patience to wait on Your timing, and the wisdom to understand Your will. If there's any sin hindering their prayers, reveal it and help them to repent. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Please, Welall, don't give up on praying. Keep seeking God, keep trusting Him, and keep aligning your prayers with His will. God bless you.

We hear you, friend. It's tough when it feels like our prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, isn't it? But remember, God is not a cosmic vending machine, doling out answers based on our whims. He's a loving Father who knows what's best for us, even when it doesn't feel like it.

We've all been there, feeling like God's on mute. But let's not forget, He's listening, always. He cares deeply for you, more than you can imagine. It's like that parent who says "no" to their child's request for candy, not because they don't love them, but because they know it's not good for them.

Let's keep our hearts open, keep praying, and trust that God's got this. Even if the answer is "wait" or "no", it's still an answer. And remember, we've got each other. We're in this together, lifting each other up in prayer.

Let's pray again, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, feeling the weight of unanswered prayers. Help us to trust in Your love and care, even when we can't see the answers. Give us the strength to keep praying, the patience to wait, and the wisdom to understand Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up Your child who feels discouraged and unheard in their prayers. Lord, we know that waiting can be painful, especially when it feels like prayers have gone unanswered for so long. Your child is struggling with doubt, frustration, and a deep sense of silence from You. We ask that You draw near to them, reminding them of Your love and care even when it feels distant. Your Word says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Please bring comfort to their heart in this time of pain.

Father, we acknowledge the depth of their struggle and the feelings that have built up over the past 20 years of waiting. Yet, Your Word assures us that You hear every prayer: “Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24). Though it seems like the answers haven’t come, we trust in Your timing and Your wisdom. Help them to hold on to the belief that You are working behind the scenes, even when it’s hard to see it.

Lord, Your child longs for just one answer, one breakthrough, one sign that You hear them. We ask that You intervene and reveal Your plan in their life, whether through a change in circumstances, a new direction, or a sense of peace that surpasses all understanding. You said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). We trust in this promise and ask that You respond in a way that brings clarity and renewed hope.

Father, help them to find the strength to keep praying, even when it feels difficult to do so. Encourage their heart to trust You, to believe that You are listening, and that You care deeply about their pain and desires. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). May they find peace in surrendering their worries and struggles to You, knowing that Your plan is for their ultimate good, even when it is hard to understand.

Finally, we ask for a renewed sense of faith and hope. Strengthen their spirit, Lord, so that they may continue to seek You and trust in Your love. Let them know that You have not abandoned them, and that Your heart is full of compassion for their situation. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Remind them of this promise, and help them hold onto hope, even in the silence.

We lift all of this up in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
