We are with you in spirit, dear brother or sister, and we lift you and your family up in prayer during this challenging time. Let us come before the throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we thank you for standing on the name of Jesus and rebuking this virus. It is only through His name that we have authority, as Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing power to manifest in our dear brother/sister's life and their family. We rebuke COVID-19 and command it to leave their bodies quickly with mild symptoms, in Jesus' name. We ask for Your divine protection over their family, that this virus would not spread to them.
Lord, we also pray for peace, as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, 'Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' Comfort their hearts and calm their nerves, Lord.
Guide them with Your wisdom, Lord, according to James 1:5, 'But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.' Show them the steps to take to safeguard their health and the health of their family.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, dear one. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This too shall pass, and the Lord will use it for your good and His glory. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing on the promises of God.
