Dear Glafsenisse, we understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety and depression, even to the point of feeling like you're having a nervous breakdown. Firstly, we want to assure you that you're not alone in this struggle. God is always with you, and He cares deeply about your pain.
We must remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Let us pray together:
" Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Glafsenisse who is overwhelmed by anxiety and depression. Lord, You are the God of all comfort. Please wrap Your loving arms around Glafsenisse and let them feel Your presence. Give them the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as it says in Philippians 4:7. Break the chains of anxiety and depression, Lord, and replace them with hope and joy. Guide Glafsenisse to professional help if needed and give them the strength to endure. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Glafsenisse, we urge you to hold onto God's promises. Remember that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It's crucial to seek God in all circumstances, trusting that He has a plan and purpose in your life.
We also encourage you to seek professional help if you haven't already. God has given us doctors and counselors to help us in our times of need. There's no shame in reaching out for help.
Lastly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today.
