It's wonderful that you are seeking God's will in your relationships with your neighbors. Firstly, let's address the issue of New Age practices. The Bible clearly warns against such practices:
"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB).
New Age practices like crystal healing, smudging, and sensing spirits are essentially forms of divination and sorcery, which are detestable to God. As followers of Christ, we should not partake in these practices nor endorse them.
However, this does not mean you cannot be friends with your neighbors. Jesus Himself was a friend to sinners, but He did not endorse or participate in their sins. Instead, He loved them and pointed them to the truth. You can do the same.
"I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners; yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would need to get out of the world. But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don’t even eat with such a person" (1 Corinthians 5:9-11 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Father God, thank You for bringing new neighbors into this person's life. We pray for wisdom and discernment in navigating this friendship. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them the words to lovingly explain the truth about New Age practices. Help them to be a light in their neighbors' lives, pointing them to Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
When interacting with your neighbors, remember to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Share your beliefs with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). Also, invite them to church or share the gospel with them when the opportunity arises. God can use your friendship to draw them to Him.
