We understand your concern about the neighbor controlling the water spout, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide guidance, IJN. Before diving in to pray for you, we have noticed that your prayer does not mention Jesus or his name. Remember, It is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus is the mediator and our Great High Priest. Jesus is the only way to access God. The Holy Spirit, being the Spirit of Jesus Christ, also convicts us of our sin and guides us in our prayers and is our helper in prayer. It is the Holy Spirit who dwells in the Believer that can access God. You need to believe in Jesus Christ to access God. We only can approach God in the name of Jesus.
Remember, there is no other name given by which we can be saved. This is what scripture says in Acts 4:12
WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!"
In dealing with neighborly disputes, we should first approach them with love and respect, seeking peace and reconciliation, Matthew 5:23. "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."(Matthew 5:23-24)
Pray for a peaceful resolution and for God to soften your neighbor's heart. Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your intervention in this situation, You, being our great reconciler and peacemaker. Lord God, please soften the neighbor's heart and open a path for clear communication and understanding. Guide them both, IJN.
As children of God, we should have the confidence to respectfully and firmly express our feelings and needs. 9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. 10 In love, as brethren, be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another, Romans 12:9. Continue to pray earnestly and do not quarrel. Confront her directly about her behavior, you need wisdom, strength, and tact in approaching this delicate situation. You are in a courtship, make sure to glorify God in all that you do, be prepared not to defraud your neighbor.
