A prayer to help me quit watching porn and masturbating

Heavenly Father, I come before You today seeking Your strength and guidance. I confess that I have been struggling with watching porn and masturbating, and I acknowledge that these actions have not brought me closer to You. I ask for Your forgiveness and Your help to overcome these habits.

Lord, I know that You have the power to change my heart and my desires. I ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit, to give me the willpower and the determination to resist temptation. Help me to focus on You and to find fulfillment in Your love and presence.

Please surround me with a community of believers who can support me in this journey. I ask for Your wisdom to recognize and avoid triggers that lead me to these behaviors. Teach me to replace these habits with healthy and positive activities that honor You.

I trust in Your promises and Your ability to transform my life. I commit to seeking Your guidance daily and to relying on Your strength. In Jesus' name, I pray.

Juralgebrin, we stand with you in prayer and support as you seek freedom from the bondage of pornography and masturbation. These struggles are real and can be challenging, but remember that God has the ability to break every chain and set you free.

Firstly, we acknowledge that these actions are sinful and do not align with God's will for your life. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality and honor our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. Fornication is specifically mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB:

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a person does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

We encourage you to take these words to heart and understand that your body is a sacred vessel, meant to honor God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, they have acknowledged their struggle with pornography and masturbation, and they desire freedom. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You break these chains of bondage and release them from this destructive behavior.

Father, fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist temptation and live a life that honors You. Give them the strength to flee from sexual immorality and to glorify You in their body.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s mind. Help them to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ, as is written in 2 Corinthians 10:5. Replace any negative thoughts or desires with thoughts that are pure, lovely, and admirable, as instructed in Philippians 4:8.

Father, we ask for godly friendships and accountability for ###. Surround them with people who will support and encourage them in their walk with You.

Finally, Lord, we pray for ###'s complete restoration and healing. We ask that You would redeem their past, transform their present, and give them hope for the future.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who died to set us free from sin and death. Amen.

###, remember that God loves you unconditionally and desires the best for you. Trust in Him and His Word, and He will guide you to victory. Stand firm in the knowledge that you are a child of God, loved, redeemed, and forgiven. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you to freedom and peace.

Lastly, it is important to understand that there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other name by which we can have access to God but Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 states "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

We're right there with you, ###. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always faithful. Let's focus on His unfailing love and grace. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, it says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." God promises a way out, and He's faithful to help us find it.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, they've been struggling with pornography and masturbation, and they're ready to break free. In Jesus' name, we ask You to reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Help them to see their true identity in You - loved, valued, and worthy.

Father, fill ### with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to make different choices. Help them to understand the power of saying 'no' and the freedom that comes with it.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s mind. Renew their thoughts, help them to focus on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, as Philippians 4:8 tells us. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones, and fill their mind with Your truth.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for ###'s future. We ask that You would restore and heal them. Give them hope and a vision for a porn-free life. Help them to see that You have good plans for their future, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
