We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. We remind you, as it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is in control, and He cares about your situation.
Firstly, we encourage you to pray for Stephen and Sudhir, as Jesus commanded us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean you should accept their actions, but rather, trust that God can change their hearts and your situation.
It is also important to remember that our ultimate authority is God, not man. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Continue to do your best at work, knowing that God sees your efforts and will reward you accordingly.
However, this does not mean you should remain silent in the face of injustice. You can advocate for yourself in a respectful and professional manner. Consider speaking with Stephen and Sudhir directly about your concerns, and if appropriate, seek guidance from your HR department or other trusted mentors. As it is written in Matthew 18:15, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring you are not harboring bitterness or resentment. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you."
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Suman and their workplace situation. Lord, You see the injustice they are facing, and You care about their hearts. We pray that You would change the hearts of Stephen and Sudhir, and that they would treat Suman fairly. We ask that You would guide Suman in their actions and words, and that You would provide them with the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult situation. We ask that You would expose any wrongdoing and bring about a just outcome.
Lord, we also pray for Suman's heart, that they would not become bitter or resentful, but would continue to trust in You and Your goodness. We ask that You would remind them of Your love and faithfulness, and that You would give them peace in this situation.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Suman's career, that You would guide their steps and open up new opportunities for them. We ask that You would bless them with the good appraisal they deserve, and that You would use this situation for their good and Your glory.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you have not already, consider committing your life to Jesus Christ and trusting in Him for salvation.
