We understand your struggle, JosephAngels, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. You're feeling a lack of intimacy with the Lord and finding it challenging to share the Gospel around those who haven't accepted Jesus yet. Remember, Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20, WEB). Even among those who haven't accepted Him, His presence is with you.
Firstly, let's address the power of Jesus' name. It's crucial to remember that "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you find it difficult to pray or preach, call upon His name, for "whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14, WEB).
Regarding your difficulty in preaching the Gospel, remember that it's not your wisdom or eloquence that convicts hearts, but the power of God. Paul wrote, "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Good Newsโnot in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ wouldn't be made void. For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved, it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:17-18, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up JosephAngels, who yearns for a deeper connection with You and struggles to share the Gospel. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, grant them boldness and wisdom to preach Your word. Help them to trust not in their abilities but in Your power to change hearts. Give them a burden for the lost and a passion to share the Good News. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, JosephAngels. Keep pursuing intimacy with the Lord, and keep sharing the Gospel. God will give you the words to speak and the strength to endure. "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Turning to the Lord, the veil is taken away." (2 Corinthians 3:17, WEB).
