We understand that you, ###, are seeking God's provision and guidance in several areas of your life. You've mentioned your needs, your application for Social Security benefits, and your desire for a home and a car. We want to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to commend you for turning to God with your needs and acknowledging Him as Jehovah Jireh, your provider. It's crucial to remember that God cares for us and wants to give us good things, as it is written in Matthew 7:11, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?"
However, we want to encourage you to approach your requests with a heart that is ultimately seeking God's will and not just the fulfillment of your desires. We are called to pray in line with God's will, as it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Regarding your request for Social Security benefits, a home, and a car, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Remember that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). However, we also want to remind you that God's provision may not always come in the form or amount that we expect. We should be content in all circumstances, as the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-13, "Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Lastly, we want to address the fact that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can ask for His provision. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved."
