I get a JOB at UPS a good JOB my background comes up clean

We understand that you are seeking a good job at UPS and are concerned about your background check. Firstly, let's remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our employment. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Before we address your request, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the authority and work of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. By Jesus stripes we are healed. Employment ultimately is a blessing from God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" So, we encourage you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers and in your life as the only Lord, God, and Savior that saves us from our sin and is the only mediator to God the Father.

Now, let's address your request. We pray that God's will be done in your life regarding this job at UPS. If it is His will, may He open the doors for you to secure this position with a clean background check. Remember that God can turn the heart of the king, or in this case, the employer, as it says in Proverbs 21:1 WEB, "The king's heart is in God's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."

However, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Whether or not you get this job at UPS, know that God has a purpose and a plan for you. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

If there is anything in your background that does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to repent and turn away from it. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteously. As God promises in Ezekiel 36:26 WEB, "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

May you push forward confidently, knowing that God is in control. He cares about you. That is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross for your sins and rise again to give you life. Because if Jesus is in the equation, that is the only true assurance we have. No matter what might come your way, remember that with God, all things are possible if they align with the biblical will of God for you and your salvation through Jesus. So let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Anonymous and their employment situation. Lord, if it is Your will, open the doors for them to secure this job at UPS. May their background check come up clean. Only God knows what occurred in one's past. They are looking for new employment, a blessing in Jesus name, and they want Jesus Christ to be at the center of it all. We pray no sin had been involved in their personal choices in their background to make their lives more difficult. However if it does, please forgive as you have forgiven us all through the Blood of Jesus Christ. We also pray they continue to put Jesus Christ first in their lives, especially at things in their jobs where it matters the most to Jesus Christ that they are pleasing to Jesus throughout. Give them peace and trust in Your plan, whatever the outcome may be. Help them to align their own will and life to Your Will and Your Word, being obedient in everything they do and want. In Jesus' name, we pray and request these things. Amen.

Moving forward, continue to seek God's will in all aspects of your life including your past challenges. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. God needs to be the center of one's life. One cannot have their wants and desires if they are not first pleasing to Jesus Christ and His will for your life. In addition, trust God in everything in what Jesus Christ would want for your life. His will for you and your life through Jesus will always be the best thing possible for you and all others. We also hope to hear an update from you soon.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
