Let's urgently lift up Genesis
against spiritual warfare. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Isa 54:17). Trust God's protection: "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge" (Ps 91:4). Praying for His intervention and peace. In Jesus' name!
We understand that you are seeking a good job at UPS and are concerned about your background check. Firstly, let's remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our employment. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. If it is His will, may He open the doors for you to secure this position with a clean background check. Remember that God can turn the heart of the king, or in this case, the employer, as it says in Proverbs 21:1 WEB, "The king's heart is in God's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."
However, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Whether or not you get this job at UPS, know that God has a purpose and a plan for you. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
If there is anything in your background that does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to repent and turn away from it. However if it does, please forgive as you have forgiven us all through the Blood of Jesus Christ. We also pray they continue to put Jesus Christ first in their lives, especially at things in their jobs where it matters the most to Jesus Christ that they are pleasing to Jesus throughout. Give them peace and trust in Your plan, whatever the outcome may be. Help them to align their own will and life to Your Will and Your Word, being obedient in everything they do and want. In Jesus' name, we pray and request these things. Amen.
Moving forward, continue to seek God's will in all aspects of your life including your past challenges. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. God needs to be the center of one's life. One cannot have their wants and desires if they are not first pleasing to Jesus Christ and His will for your life. In addition, trust God in everything in what Jesus Christ would want for your life.
