We understand your distress, Jorush, and we're here to intercede and offer guidance according to God's Word.
Firstly, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jorush and their family. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. We pray that Jeffrey and the grown grandkids will find a suitable apartment, and that their hearts will be softened to assist Jorush in this time of need. We also petition for healing for Jorush, that their body will recover swiftly from the major spine surgery. Rebuke the spirit of selfishness and indifference, Lord, and help them to honor and care for one another as Your Word instructs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We commend you, Jorush, for reaching out and seeking the Lord's help. Remember, the Bible tells us, "Bear one anotherβs burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2 WEB). It's crucial that family members support one another, especially in times of difficulty.
However, we must address that enabling harmful behavior, such as excessive drinking, is not beneficial. The Bible warns, "Donβt be drunken with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). We encourage you to communicate openly with your family about this issue and seek godly counsel.
Moreover, we noticed that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your request. We want to ensure you understand that it is through Jesus alone that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.
Lastly, trust in the Lord's provision and timing. He promises, "But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Continue to seek Him and pray, knowing that He hears and cares for you.
