Dear Heavenly Father,

We commend you, ###, for reaching out and seeking the Lord's help. Remember, the Bible tells us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2 WEB). It's crucial that family members support one another, especially in times of difficulty.

However, we must address that enabling harmful behavior, such as excessive drinking, is not beneficial. The Bible warns, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). We encourage you to communicate openly with your family about this issue and seek godly counsel.

Moreover, we noticed that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your request. We want to ensure you understand that it is through Jesus alone that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Lastly, trust in the Lord's provision and timing. He promises, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Continue to seek Him and pray, knowing that He hears and cares for you.
